South Iceland (near Hvolsvöllur)
You can go behind it, but we recommend wearing rain gear
Description One of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, dropping around 60 meters from ancient sea cliffs along the south coast. What makes Seljalandsfoss unique is the path that allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall for a full 360° experience, often surrounded by mist, light, and rainbows. But don’t forget to go to the hidden waterfall 20 meter from Skógafoss, Gljúfrabúi — that’s our favorite.
