Seljalandsfoss

South Iceland (near Hvolsvöllur)

nature

Description One of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, dropping around 60 meters from ancient sea cliffs along the south coast. What makes Seljalandsfoss unique is the path that allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall for a full 360° experience, often surrounded by mist, light, and rainbows. Fed by glacial water from Eyjafjallajökull, it’s one of the most photographed stops along the Ring Road.
